Observer Design for Takagi-Sugeno Descriptor System with Lipschitz Constraints

چکیده
This paper investigates the design problem of observers for nonlinear descriptor systems described by Takagi-Sugeno (TS) system; Depending on the available knowledge on the premise variables two cases are considered. First a TS descriptor system with measurables premises variables are proposed. Second, an observer design which satisfying the Lipschitz condition is proposed when the premises variables are unmeasurables. The convergence of the state estimation error is studied using the Lyapunov theory and the stability conditions are given in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Examples are included to illustrate those methods. KEYWORDS

Design of nonlinear parity approach to fault detection and identification based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model and unknown input observer in nonlinear systems
In this study, a novel fault detection scheme is developed for a class of nonlinear system in the presence of sensor noise. A nonlinear Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is implemented to create multiple models. While the T-S fuzzy model is used for only the nonlinear distribution matrix of the fault and measurement signals, a larger category of nonlinear systems is considered. Next, a mapping to decou...
متن کاملDiscrete-time Takagi-Sugeno descriptor models: observer design
The present paper deals with observer design for discrete-time nonlinear descriptor systems. Through Finsler’s Lemma, we cut the link between the observer gains and the Lyapunov function, which relaxes existing conditions and introduces an extra degree of freedom. In addition, the results are expressed as LMI constraints. The effectiveness of the two proposed approaches is illustrated via sever...
متن کاملMulti-objective H =H1 fault detection observer design for Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems with unmeasurable premise variables: descriptor approach
This paper investigates the problem of robust fault detection observer design for nonlinear Takagi–Sugeno models with unmeasurable premise variables subject to sensor faults and unknown bounded disturbance. The main idea is to synthesize a robust fault detection observer by means of a mixed H =H1 performance index. The considered observer is used to estimate jointly states and faults. Using the...
متن کاملGeneralized LMI observer design for discrete-time nonlinear descriptor models
The present paper provides a systematic way to generalize Takagi-Sugeno observer design for discrete-time nonlinear descriptor models. The approach is based on Finsler’s lemma, which decouples the observer gains from the Lyapunov function. The results are expressed as strict LMI constraints. To obtain more degrees of freedom without altering the number of LMI constraints and thus relax the cond...
